Project Description

This instruction involved undertaking a full measured survey of the property and producing proposed drawings for a loft conversion to the property, by removing the existing roof and designing a new roof structure in a higher position to house new second floor accommodation. Following the granting of Planning Permission we then produced full Building Regulations drawings including full structural design and calculations, along with a Schedule of Works pricing document to ensure all tendering contractors price the project on a like-for-like basis.

Project Desciption

Focus Property Consultancy was instructed by the block management company to undertake a full measure survey of the property and produce proposed drawings for a two-storey side extension and singe-storey rear extension to the property, enlarging two apartments within the building. Planning Permission was successfully granted.

We were approached by the owner of a restaurant in Tooting, London, who had already constructed a single-storey structure within the rear yard as additional seating for customers. As this unit was built without Planning Approval, we were asked to produce drawings of the current status, and submit a retrospective Planning Application in order to formalise approval

• Completion of the Planning Application Form and submission to the Local Authority

Following the granting of Planning Permission and approval of Building Regulations designs, we then managed the project on site through to completion.
