We were approached by the owner of a restaurant in Tooting, London, who had already constructed a single-storey structure within the rear yard as additional seating for customers. As this unit was built without Planning Approval, we were asked to produce drawings of the current status, and submit a retrospective Planning Application in order to formalise approval

This instruction involved undertaking the following works:

• A full measured survey of the property
• Producing existing and current Planning drawings for the construction of the single-storey rear seating area
• Production of a Design and Access Statement
• Completion of the Planning Application Form and submission to the Local Authority

Following the granting of Planning Permission and approval of Building Regulations designs, we then managed the project on site through to completion.
